Gisell Millán

 Humanities Quadrangle   To visit this building it was an adventure because I get lost. But that experince give me the oportunitie to seen all the rooms and secrets of the building.  If you don't know, all the buildings of here has bricks with yale word like in the first picture.  The others two pictures are of the places where the students take classes I like it because is to diferent of the classrooms from WLH that is where I am studying.                                                            A curious fact that shocked me is a class that lasts 2 hours.                    This is an american studies lounge.  I saw this in one of the classrooms that were on the first floor   .                                                                          Finally I arrived to the student lounge and that place is beautiful. It has a lot of colors and picture windows. Also the seats are comfortable.  The essence is calm and relaxation after a long day.

Law   Today I went to the Yale school of Law. The first thing I saw was the library and in my opinion it was fantastic. When you enter you first impresion is all the books and all the places you can sit for study. What I loved about the library are the chandeliers it has. Two things that impress me about the library is the part of Oscar Wilde with his books and the car of books that you can take. .           About the building it has a lot of picture windows with different images about law. Also have paintings of lawyers and judges.

  Beinecke Library                                                                                    The first photo was taken from my room in Berkley. From that moment I wanted to visit the library. Today I had the opportunity to come and meet the library. In my perspective, it's very beautiful and the way they take care of the books is unique. In the second photo you can see how the books are protected in a glass cabin against fire. An interesting fact is that no one can touch the books and if someone wanted to see them, a special person must be with them.

     Bell Tower                                                    I had the oportunity to visited the Branford Bell  Tower from inside.   Few people have had the opportunity to see the tower from inside, making this occasion unique.  To be able to see the operation of the bells I had to climb three floors. In the second there were some viewpoints and an area where they  practiced  before ringing the real bells. In the  third was   the instrument that produces  the  bell sound.  There were more  floors, but they were located where  the bells were  and I couldn't went.  In the first video is one girl  playing  the sound. In the second  video is t he view of the  viewpoint . It was a breathtaking view, and  the bell's sound shook  the entire tower. I felt  magical.

  East Rock To get to East Rock I had to walk 45 minutes and on the way I got to know New Haven better. Everywhere I walk I can see new places to eat and see with my friends. You can also better appreciate the architecture of all the houses and see how beautiful this place is. Although the road was long, it was worth it because I was able to see the incredible fireworks and meet new people. In this experience I met 5 girls who live in Berkeley. This video can't  show  how beautiful it was to  see fireworks.   At all times during the fireworks, I was able to concentrate on myself and think.  I would not change this  awsome  experience for anything. It was a moment of pure peace and joy. I will never forget this experience.
